Our production-oriented line of Cream Legbars (a mix of the A/B/C lines) are proving themselves to be prolific layers, averaging 250 eggs/year their first laying cycle. Cream Legbars were developed in Great Britain in the 1920's to provide the commercial market with autosexing egg layers. The chicks are born with distinctive down patterns which allow them to be easily sexed at hatch. They lay light blue eggs, some tinted with green. Attractive and lively like their Leghorn ancestors, they sport head crests and display a gentle temperament. We offer a limited number of chicks and hatching eggs from this small purebred flock.
